The mission of Be Better Movement is always forward thinking. Each week we give you a new tangible challenge to improve your life and the lives of others. But this week, instead of an invitation to change or add something to your routine, we challenge you to pause and reflect on the past year.
As we enter the New Year, it is common to look ahead and set New Year’s Resolutions. Although this forward thinking is necessary, it is also important to spend some time reflecting. Simply jumping forward doesn't honor the journey you traveled in the past year. Reflect on the joys, the sorrows, and the journey. The time spent on reflecting could possibly bring some clarity to the direction in which you want to move forward.
This week's #bebetter52 challenge is the last challenge of 2016. You have completed 52 challenges, all aimed to turning your self-improvement journey into global improvement. The final challenge of the New Year is to REFLECT. We have put together a series of questions we encourage you to ask yourself, thoughtfully ponder and finally document. Do not get overwhelmed by the task. Simply find 30 minutes in a quiet space to reflect on the ups and downs of 2016. These ups and downs are important in our continued growth toward self improvement. Taking the time to appreciate these moments, be they positive or negative, only gives them more power to change our lives for the better. We have provided 3 simple questions below.
