This week’s life goal is positive affirmations. You may be familiar with affirmations, or they might be a completely foreign concept. But by the end of this week, you should be a pro at developing positive affirmations.


Envy is wishing you had something that someone else has and failing to appreciate your own good fortune. Positive affirmations can help break the vicious cycle of envy and bring attention to your own life and the positive things in it. The antidote to envy is satisfaction.


Satisfaction is the substance of positive affirmation. If you choose to be satisfied with where you are, you will attract more of the positive into your life. You create a more abundant and positive position for yourself in the world.


How can you make this part of your daily routine?


Each morning, before getting out of bed, focus on five positive elements in your life. Give yourself kudos for the big and the little things you have going on in your life. Are you being a good parent? Did you remember to call your friend? Big or small, give yourself a pat on the back for the things you do. In the evening, write down five things you are good at or have accomplished. The good feelings will flow, and you will love the positivity you create!


Be satisfied with where you are and eager for what is coming next.
